AAAA EAST:
GATEWAY at #1WOODLAND HILLS: This game can be heard on NSN. The Gators grabbed an early share of first place with a 21-7 win over Plum last week. Brian Howley rushed for 95 yards and one touchdown for Gateway, which is 2-1 overall. The Wolverines are perfect through three weeks. Last week they beat Indiana 34-13 thanks to Curtis Hall, who ran for 142 yards and scored three touchdowns.

#2 PENN HILLS at PLUM: The Indians are 3-0 after they beat up on McKeesport 39-6 last week. Melvin Kirby rushed for 183 yards and two touchdowns, while quarterback Glenn Hood also rushed for two scores. The Mustangs fell to 1-2 overall, and 0-1 in the conference after losing at Gateway 21-7. Darob Wright had Plum's only touchdown on a second quarter two yard run.

INDIANA at FRANKLIN REGIONAL: This game can be heard on taped delay at 10pm on NSN. The Little Indians were smacked around last week in their conference opener 34-13 by Woodland Hills. Aaron Lantzy threw a pair of second quarter touchdown passes for Indiana which dropped to 1-2 overall. The Panthers won their Quad East opener last week, shutting out Kiski Area 16-0. Shawn Cloherty ran for 146 yards and two touchdowns for Franklin Regional, which upped its record to 2-1 overall.

KISKI AREA at MCKEESPORT: The Cavaliers were shut out last week by Franklin Regional 16-0. The loss dropped Kiski Area to 0-3 overall. The Tigers also dropped their conference opener last week 39-6 at Penn Hills. Cecil Howard hit Jason Williams on a 32 yard scoring strike for McKeesport, which fell to 1-2 overall.

AAAA NORTH:
#3 NORTH HILLS at #10 SENECA VALLEY: This game can be heard on NSN. The Indians and Raiders both won their Quad North openers last week. North Hills shutout Fox Chapel 33-0. Quarterback Todd Szramowski threw for two touchdowns, and ran for two scores. Seneca Valley won at Butler 15-6 with Justin Ziegler and Bud Profetta scoring on touchdown runs. North Hills is 3-0 overall, while Seneca Valley comes in with a record of 2-1.

CENTRAL CATHOLIC at #5 NEW CASTLE: The Vikings lost a tough conference opener last week 28-26 to Shaler. Dino DiNardo rushed for 184 yards and three touchdowns in Central Catholic's first loss of the season. The Red Hurricanes bounced back nicely from their loss in week two with a convincing 35-14 win over North Allegheny. Corey Lemmon rushed for 144 yards and scored three touchdowns for the 'Canes. Both teams are 2-1 overall.

NORTH ALLEGHENY at FOX CHAPEL: This game can be hard on NSN. Both teams are trying to bounce back after losses last week. The Tigers fell at home to New Castle 35-14. Jon Clouner and Mike Kirow scored on short touchdown runs for NA which fell to 1-2. The Foxes were blanked by North Hills 33-0. With the loss, Fox Chapel is now winless in three games.

BUTLER at SHALER: This game can be heard on NSN on Saturday afternoon as Shaler celebrates it's homecoming week-end. The Golden Tornadoes play their first road game after three straight losses at home. Last week they fell 15-6 to Seneca Valley. The Titans knocked off Central Catholic 28-26. Brandon Lehmeier scored three touchdowns for Shaler, which raised its record to 2-1 overall.

AAAA WEST:
#6 BETHEL PARK at UPPER ST.CLAIR: This game can be heard on NSN. The Black Hawks are a perfect 3-0 after beating Uniontown last week 49-12. Mike Brodzinski rushed for 147 yards and scored three touchdowns for the defending Quad West champions. The Panthers knocked off Canon McMillan 26-16 to raise their overall record to 2-1. Quarterback Justin Accamando was 8 of 10 for 110 yards and one touchdown pass for USC.

#4 MOUNT LEBANON at UNIONTOWN: This game can be heard on NSN. The Blue Devils are undefeated following last weeks 38-0 pasting of Trinity. Quarterback Kevin Weidl was 8 of 14 for 154 yards and two touchdown passes. The Red Raiders tasted defeat for the first time this season when they lost to Bethel Park 49-12 last week. Norman Craggette ran for one score, while Carl Farrell threw for a touchdown for Uniontown.

CANON MCMILLAN at #8 BALDWIN: The Big Macs are winless through three weeks after losing last week 26-16 to Upper St.Clair. Brandon Neuman scored two touchdowns for Canon McMillan. The Fighting Highlanders pulled out a miracle victory last week, 21-16 over Ringgold to keep their undefeated record intact. Matt Caponi scored all three of Baldwin's touchdowns, including a 98 yard kickoff return for a score with only 26 seconds left.

#9 RINGGOLD at TRINITY: How will the Rams respond after their heartbreaking loss to Baldwin last week 21-16. Todd James had just kicked a 23 yard filed goal with 40 second left to give Ringgold a 16-14 lead, but Baldwin scored on the ensuing kickoff return to hand the Rams their first loss of the season. The Hillers are winless after being whitewashed at Mt.Lebanon 38-0.

AAAA SOUTH:
#7 GREENSBURG-SALEM at PENN-TRAFFORD: The Golden Rams are a perfect 3-0 after winning last week 25-21 over Norwin. Jamon Styles rushed for 164 yards and three touchdowns, including a 34 yard jaunt in the third quarter which proved to be the game winner. The Warriors upped their overall record to 2-1 with a 21-20 win at Hempfield. Quarterback Mike Simpson threw three touchdowns passes for PT, which had to hold off a furious Hempfield Comeback attempt to win their conference opener.

LAUREL HIGHLANDS at CONNELLSVILLE: Both the Mustangs and the Falcons are 1-2 overall, but their lone victories came last week in their Quad South openers. Laurel Highlands nipped Latrobe 20-19, thanks to the combination of JuJuan Davis and Justin Guittap, who combined on a 54 yard scoring strike late in the fourth quarter for the Mustangs victory. The Falcons blasted Albert Gallatin 48-22 behind Marcus Furman, who rushed for 148 yards and scored four touchdowns.

HEMPFIELD at LATROBE: The Spartans dropped to 1-2 overall after losing to Penn-Trafford 21-20 last week. Quarterback Brad Dvorsky led a 4th quarter comeback with two touchdown passes that brought Hempfield back to within one, but a missed extra point was the difference. The Wildcats remained winless after losing their second straight heartbreaker, 20-19 to Laurel Highlands. Matt Kozusko threw for one score, and ran for another for Latrobe.

ALBERT GALLATIN at NORWIN: This game is Saturday afternoon as Norwin celebrates its homecoming weekend. The Colonials are 0-3 after losing to Connellsville last week 48-22. Jared Plisko scored twice for Albert Gallatin. The Knights lost their conference opener last week, 25-21 to Greensburg-Salem. Cody Peer, Randy Rovesti and Jim Cooper scored on touchdown runs for the 1-2 Knights.

AAA GREATER ALLEGHENY:
#5 HIGHLANDS at #9 PINE-RICHLAND: The Golden Rams battle the Rams. Highlands is 2-1 overall, 1-1 in the conference after a 35-10 non-conference win over Elizabeth Forward last week. Darryl Collier and Tyrone Woody each scored two touchdowns in the Highlands win. The Rams are also 2-1 overall, but 2-1 in the conference following last weeks 24-0 shutout of Hampton. Steve DeVinnie rushed for 122 yards and two touchdowns for Pine-Richland.

#2 VALLEY at HAMPTON: The Vikings are a perfect 3-0 after beating Derry last week 28-20. Quarterback Dom Girardi threw for 150 yards and three touchdowns. The Talbots are 1-1 in the conference, 2-1 overall after being shutout by Pine-Richland last week 24-0. Two weeks ago, Hampton upset previously unbeaten Highlands 7-3.

BURRELL at KITTANNING: The Buccaneers are 1-1 in the conference, but only 1-2 overall after losing their second straight last week 28-23 to Knoch. Mike Zollinger ran for two scores and caught a two-point conversion for the Bucs. The Wildcats upped their record to 2-1 in the conference with a 49-28 win at Johnstown. The 'Cats are also 2-1 overall.

JOHNSTOWN at DERRY: This game can be heard on NSN. The Trojans are winless in three games. They lost last week 49-28 to Kittanning. The other Trojans also were on the short side of the score as Derry lost at Valley 28-20. Dan Elliot threw for two scores as the Trojans threw a scare into one of the top teams in AAA.

AAA KEYSTONE:
#3 BELLE VERNON at PETERS TOWNSHIP: The Leopards remained unbeaten with a 56-0 thumping of Southmoreland. Quarterback Josh Cramer threw for 124 yards and one touchdown. He also ran for a score in the Belle Vernon rout. The Indians dropped to 1-2 in the conference after losing to McGuffey 14-7. PT's only score came when Scott Klein ran one in from four yards out.

#7 THOMAS JEFFERSON at YOUGH: The Jaguars bounced back from a week 2 loss to win in dramatic fashion last week 16-14 over West Mifflin. Mike Virgin kicked a 34-yard field goal with 3 seconds left to help TJ raise its record to 2-1 in the conference. The Cougars are now 1-1 in the conference, 1-2 overall after a surprisingly easy 26-0 win at Mt.Pleasant. Quarterback Ryan Thompson threw for 209 yards and three touchdowns for Yough.

#10 MCGUFFEY at #8 WEST MIFFLIN: Both teams are 2-1 in the conference. The Highlanders beat Peters Township last week 14-7. Dan Weiss rushed for 145 yards and two touchdowns for McGuffey. The Titans lost a tough one at Thomas Jefferson 16-14. Lee Petersavage scored on a 40 yard run late in the fourth quarter to put WM up 14-13, but a late field goal gave TJ the win.

ELIZABETH-FORWARD at MOUNT PLEASANT: This game can be heard on NSN. The Warriors remained 1-1 in the conference, but fell to 1-2 overall with a 35-10 non-conference loss to Highlands. Chris Lee returned an interception 75 yards for EF's only touchdown. The Vikings were humbled at home by Yough, losing 26-0. Mount Pleasant fell to 1-2 in the conference.

AAA PARKWAY:
#4 MOON at #1 WEST ALLEGHENY: This is the feature game on NSN. Both teams are 3-0 overall. The Tigers are 2-0 in the conference after a 30-12 non-conference win last week over New Brighton. Quarterback Jim Mann threw for one score, and ran for a pair of touchdowns. The Indians crushed Blackhawk last week 38-0. Kellen Campbell rushed for 86 yards and scored three touchdowns for WA.

#6 ELLWOOD CITY at AMBRIDGE: While Moon and West Allegheny battle for first, the Wolverines have quietly kept pace. Last week Ellwood City crushed Montour 38-15 behind Santino Riccio's three touchdown passes and one touchdown run. The win upped the Wolverines record to 3-0 in the conference. The Bridgers picked up their first win of the season with a 28-27 win at Chartiers Valley. Jess Brinson had a huge night for Ambridge, rushing for 295 yards and scoring two touchdowns.

CHARTIERS VALLEY at BLACKHAWK: The Colts remain winless after losing to Ambridge 28-27. Rich Demaio ran for two touchdowns and passed for one, including a score late in the game that pulled Char-Valley to within one, but a missed extra point proved to be the difference. The Cougars long season continued last week as they were crushed 38-0 by West Allegheny. Blackhawk is now 0-2 in the conference, and 0-3 overall.

KEYSTONE OAKS at MONTOUR: The Golden Eagles are winless in three games. They lost last week to Hopewell 32-0 for their second conference loss in as many games. The Spartans are 1-2 in the conference after losing at Ellwood City last week 38-15. Evan Welsh scored one of Montour's touchdowns with a 95-yard kickoff return for a score.

AA MIDWESTERN:
RIVERSIDE at #2 ALIQUIPPA: The Panthers and the Fighting Quips enter this battle for first in the MAC with 3-0 conference records. Riverside continues to surprise, winning last week 26-0 over Freedom. The Panthers were led by Josh Koach's 142 yard rushing and two touchdowns. The Quips blanked Beaver Falls last week 18-0 behind quarterback Bernard Lay, who threw for two touchdowns, and ran for another.

BEAVER FALLS at #4 CENTER: The Tigers are trying to bounce back from their first loss of the season, 18-0 last week at home to Aliquippa. BF is now 2-1 in the conference. The Trojans are 2-0 in the conference, 3-0 at home after beating Mohawk 16-7. John Sims ran for 176 yards and scored two touchdowns for Center. BEAVER at FREEDOM: The Bobcats evened their MAC conference record at 1-1 with a 34-0 drubbing last week of Shenango. Brad Potts ran for 125 yards and two touchdowns for Beaver which is now 2-1 overall. The Bulldogs were shutout at Riverside last week 26-0. Freedom is now winless in three weeks.

NEW BRIGHTON at MOHAWK: The Lions remained winless with a non-conference loss at Moon last week 30-12. Weston Lambert and Antoine Hunter scored on short touchdown runs for New Brighton. The Warriors lost at home to Center 16-7. Jeff Johnson scored early for Mohawk's only score. The Warriors are now 1-2 in the conference.

AA CENTURY:
#6 JEANNETTE at #8 SOUTH PARK: This game can be heard on NSN. Both The Jayhawks and Eagles are flying high at 3-0. Jeannette blew away Beth-Center 42-12. Matt Lebe rushed for 101 yards and scored once for the 'Hawks. The Eagles disposed of Charleroi 41-12 last week. Jason Stewart rushed for 202 yards and scored four touchdowns for South Park.

BROWNSVILLE at SOUTH ALLEGHENY: Their playing under the lights again at Glassport stadium. The Falcons lost at home last week 16-10 to Steel Valley. Billy Puch returned a punt 49 yards for Brownsville's only touchdown. The loss dropped them to 1-1 overall. The Gladiators are 1-2 overall, 0-1 in the conference after a 12-6 loss at East Allegheny. Nick Cortazzo scored SA's only touchdown on a 2 yard run.

EAST ALLEGHENY at BETH-CENTER: The Wildcats are only 1-2 overall, but they are 1-0 in the conference after beating South Allegheny last week 12-6. Adam Wagner hit Kevin Chamberlin with an 11 yard touchdown pass with five minutes left in the game for the winning EA score. The Bulldogs are winless in three games after losing at Jeannette last week 42-12. Both Beth-Center scores came in the fourth quarter, including an 83 yard yard kickoff return for a score by Shane Cole.

CHARLEROI at #5 STEEL VALLEY: This game is played Saturday afternoon in Munhall. The Cougars are struggling in '99. They lost last week at home to South Park 41-12 to fall to 0-3. Justin Spada scored both touchdowns for Charleroi. The Ironmen are an opposite 3-0 after winning at Brownsville last week 16-10. Luke Getsy threw a pair of touchdown passes in the fourth quarter, including a 17 yarder to Jerrod Smith with just under two minutes remaining for the come from behind win.

AA ALLEGHENY:
MARS at #9 APOLLO-RIDGE: This game can be heard on NSN. The planets improved to 2-1 overall with a conference opening 42-20 win over Freeport last week. Brandon Mueller rushed for 213 yards and scored four touchdowns for Mars. The Vikings are now 3-0 after an impressive 32-3 win at Northgate. Brian Newton ran for 141 yards and four touchdowns for AR.

FORD CITY at FREEPORT: The Sabres are 2-1, but 0-1 in the conference after losing their opener last week in overtime to Shady Side Academy 13-10. Adam Peck hit Ryan Morda on a 24 yard score in the third quarter that put Ford City up 7-0, but SSA scored late to tie it, and Casey Welch's 30 yard field goal in overtime could not hold up. The Yellowjackets fell to 0-3 with a 42-20 loss at Mars. Brandon Farster hit Bobby Woods with a pair of scoring strikes for the 'jackets.

NORTHGATE at NORTH CATHOLIC: The Flames come in with a 2-1 record overall, but they are 0-1 in the conference after losing big at home to Apollo-Ridge 32-3. Northgate's only score came on a Rob Ferraro 36 yard filed goal. The Trojans are only 1-2 overall, but 1-0 in the conference after winning their opener last week 37-20 over Deer Lakes. Dave DiVosevic rushed for 165 yards and two touchdowns to lead North Catholic to their first win.

DEER LAKES at SHADY SIDE ACADEMY: Both teams enter this Saturday afternoon contest with 1-2 records overall. The Lancers lost their conference opener last week to North Catholic 37-20. Despite the loss, it was a huge night for Ryan Zalus, who rushed for 234 yards and scored three touchdowns for Deer Lakes. The Rams won their conference opener last week in dramatic fashion 13-10 over Ford City in overtime. Ricardo San Doval scored on a two yard run with 1:47 left in the fourth quarter to tie it, then San Doval scored on a four yard run in overtime to win it for SSA.

AA THREE RIVERS:
STO-ROX at #1 WASHINGTON: The Vikings fell to 0-3 in losing last week at Burgettstown 37-24. Quarterback Rich Olszewski threw two touchdown passes and ran for one for the 'Rox. But they are in over their heads against the top ranked Prexies, who crushed Canevin last week 47-28 to move to 3-0. Quarterback Brent Marsteller threw for one and ran for two touchdowns, while running back Jason Ellis rushed for 227 yards and two touchdowns for Wash High.

CANEVIN at #3 WAYNESBURG: The Crusaders fell to 1-2 overall in losing their conference opener last week 47-28 to Washington. Quarterback John Myer was 10 of 20 for 161 yards . He threw two touchdowns and ran for one for Canevin. The Raiders are 3-0 after destroying Carlynton 50-0. Quarterback Lee Fritz threw for one score, and ran for two touchdowns.

CARLYNTON at #7 SETON LASALLE: This is a home game for both teams, who each play at Honus Wagner Field in Carnegie. The Cougars fell to 0-3 after getting crushed at home last week by Waynesburg 50-0. The Rebels won their opener last week and raised their record to 2-1 overall with a narrow 17-14 win at Quaker Valley. Bruce Gradowski and Rob Moran each scored on touchdown runs for SL.

#10 QUAKER VALLEY at BURGETTSTOWN: This game is Saturday afternoon at Burgettstown as part of homecoming weekend. The Quakers fell to 2-1 in losing their conference opener last week 17-14 to Seton LaSalle. Chris Iorio scored both of the Quakers touchdowns in the loss. The Bulldogs are now 3-0 after beating Sto-Rox 37-24. Josh Takah threw for one score, and ran for another touchdown for Burgettstown.

A EASTERN:
SERRA CATHOLIC at SPRINGDALE: The Eagles are winless in two games after dropping a 25-19 decision at home to Duquesne in their conference opener. Mark Rost rushed for 112 yards and one touchdown for Serra, which also got a 22-yard field goal from Stephanie Weimer. The Dynamos are winless in three games. They lost last week at Greensburg Central Catholic 34-0.

CLAIRTON at #3 RIVERVIEW: This game is Saturday afternoon at Oakmont. The Bears won their first game last week, but it was their conference opener putting them at 1-0 in the Eastern Conference. Matt Miniford had a huge night, rushing for 283 yards and three touchdowns in leading Clairton to a 21-7 win over Wilkinsburg. The Raiders also won their conference opener last week 35-6 at Leechburg, upping their record to 2-1 overall. Phil Sabatini had a big night, rushing for 223 yards and two touchdowns, including a 99 yard TD run.

#2 GREENSBURG CENTRAL CATHOLIC at WILKINSBURG: This game is Saturday afternoon. The Centurians are 3-0 after shutting out Springdale 34-0. Another huge night for Matt Steinman, as he rushed for 243 yards and scored five touchdowns. The Tigers fell to 1-2 overall, 0-1 in the conference when they fell at Clairton last week 21-7. Chris Robinson scored on a 54 yard ran for the Tigers only score.

LEECHBURG at DUQUESNE: This game is Saturday afternoon. The Blue Devils are 1-2 after losing their conference opener last week to Riverview 35-6. Ryan Smith hit Dennis Cuffia on a 7 yard score for Leechburg's only touchdown. The Dukes are 1-0 in the conference, 2-1 overall after knocking off Serra Catholic 25-19. Todd Harris rushed for 150 yards and one score, and LaFayette Little scored twice, including one on a 42 yard fumble return.

A BIG NINE:
#1 SOUTH SIDE BEAVER at NESHANNOCK: The Rams are unbeaten and top ranked after destroying Union 62-0 last week. Quarterback Sean McCune threw for two touchdowns, and also scored on a 55 yard interception return. The Lancers fell to 0-2 in the conference, 1-2 overall, losing at Rochester last week 44-7. Matt Kearney hit Sal Smith on a 44 yard touchdown pass for Neshannock's lone score.

#10 WESTERN BEAVER at #6 ROCHESTER: Both teams are 3-0 for this conference showdown. The Golden Beavers knocked off Redbank Valley in a non-conference game last week 28-7. Gary Birmingham threw for two touchdown passes, and D.J. Frye scored twice for WB. The Rams crushed Neshannock 44-7 last week. Kirby Griffin led the way again for the defending state champs with 121 yards rushing and three touchdowns. LAUREL at UNION: The Spartans upped their conference record to 2-1 with a 42-0 whitewash of Summit Academy. Nick Parris led the way with 169 yards rushing and three touchdowns. The Scotties fell to 0-3 after they were pummeled last week by South Side Beaver 62-0.

FARRELL at SUMMIT ACADEMY: This game is Saturday afternoon. The Steelers are now 0-2 in the conference after losing at home to Monaca 28-14. J.J. Wilson hit Marcellino Manilla twice with touchdown passes for Farrell. It was another long day at the office for the Knights, who lost at Laurel 42-0. The Knights have only 6 points in three losses.

A OHIO VALLEY:
#7 FORT CHERRY at AVELLA: The Rangers are trying to bounce back from last weeks conference opening loss to South Fayette 7-0. Mike Vernillo was held to 94 yards in the loss which dropped Fort Cherry out of the top ranked spot, and moved them to 2-1 overall. The Eagles have been grounded through three winless weeks, losing last week 32-12 at Avonworth. Matt Johnson ran for one score, while Don Rush hit Curt Paul with the other Avella score.

BENTWORTH at #8 SOUTH FAYETTE: The Bearcats continue to struggle, losing their third in three outings last week. They fell 34-0 to Brentwood. The Lions are now 2-1 overall, 1-0 in the conference after upsetting Fort Cherry 7-0. Quarterback Neil Loebig was 13 of 21 for 122 yards for the Lions, who's only score came when Mike Shuck scored on a four yard run.

CHARTIERS-HOUSTON at #9 BRENTWOOD: The Buccaneers is now 1-0 in the conference, 2-1 overall after blanking Cornell 26-0 last week. Mark Meili rushed for 143 yards and one touchdown run. The Spartans are now 3-0 after shutting out Bentworth 34-0. Another big night for Tom Medina, who was held under 200 yards for the first time this season. He ended up with 178 yards and two touchdowns.

AVONWORTH at CORNELL: Hey break up the 'lopes! The Antelopes won their second straight last week 32-12 over Avella. Brian Woods led the Avonworth attack wit 129 yards rushing. Jason Grady led through the air with three touchdown passes. The Raiders are winless in three games, and last week, they were scoreless, losing to Chartiers-Houston 26-0.

A TRI-COUNTY SOUTH:
#5 MONESSEN at WEST GREENE: The Greyhounds are now 3-0 after a big win last week over Carmichaels 14-7. Chris Byrd had two touchdowns for the 'hounds, including the winning score on a 19 yard run with three minutes remaining. The Pioneers are still searching for their first win after they lost last week at Frazier 21-13.

MAPLETOWN at CARMICHAELS: This game can be heard on NSN. The Maples are 2-1 overall, 1-0 in the conference after beating Geibel last week 18-7. Nathan Caldwell rushed for 144 yards and three touchdowns for the Maples. The Mighty Mikes lost their first game of the season, which was their conference opener last week 14-7 at Monessen. Rocky Doman scored the only touchdown for Carmichaels on a 14 yard pass from Dale Piper.

FRAZIER at CALIFORNIA: The Commodores are 1-2 overall, but they are 1-0 in the conference after a 21-13 win over West Greene. The Trojans are 2-1 overall, but they are also 1-0 in the conference after upsetting Jefferson-Morgan last week 33-27. Bob Houston ran for 141 yards and one touchdown, while Scott Regal carried for 138 yards and two touchdowns for California.

JEFFERSON-MORGAN at GEIBEL. This game is Saturday night at Connellsville. The Rockets are 2-1 overall, but they lost their conference opener last week to California 33-27. Calvin Wilson had a pair of touchdown scampers for J-M. The Gators losing way continued last week as they fell at Mapletown 18-7. Craig Coldren scored in the first quarter to give Geibel a short-lived 7-0 lead.

NON-CONFERENCE:
SOUTHMORELAND at KNOCH: This game can be heard on NSN. The Scotties are 0-3 in the Keystone Conference after losing big at Belle Vernon last week 56-0. The Knights upped their record to 2-1 in the Greater Allegheny Conference with a 28-23 win at Burrell last week. Nick Gammell ran for one score, and threw for a pair of two point conversions in the Knoch win.

#4 MONACA at INDIAN CREEK: The Indians have won two in a row after winning last week at Farrell 28-14. Mike Rossi caught two touchdown passes and Todd DiBacco ran for one, and threw one for Monaca.

HOPEWELL at SHENANGO: The Vikings upped their Parkway Conference record to 2-1 last week with a 32-0 shutout at Keystone Oaks. Jason Burkett was one of four running backs to rush for over 100 yards, as he led the way with 126 yards and one touchdown. The Wildcats are now 0-3 in the Midwestern Conference after they were shutout last week at Beaver 34-0.

CITY LEAGUE:
ALLDERDICE at #4 BRASHEAR: This game is Thursday afternoon at South Stadium. This game could go a long way to determining who finished with the fourth and final playoff spot. Both teams are 2-1 after victories last week. The Dragons knocked off Peabody 26-14. Donte Taylor led the way with three touchdown runs for Allderdice. The Bulls cruised past Westinghouse last week 29-8. Stan Grandy scored three touchdowns for Brashear.

WESTINGHOUSE at CARRICK: This game is Thursday night at South Stadium. The Bulldogs and the Raiders are both looking for their first wins of the season. Westinghouse lost to Brashear last week 29-8, while Carrick was blanked by South 20-0.

#3 PERRY at PEABODY: This game is Friday afternoon at South Stadium. The Commodores tasted defeat for the first time 20-13 last week at the hands of Oliver. The Highlanders fell to 1-2 after losing to Allderdice 26-14. Trenton Jones returned a kickoff 84 yards for one of the Highlander scores.

#1 SCHENLEY at #2 OLIVER: The Showdown in the City will take place Friday night at South Stadium and can be heard on NSN. Both teams are 3-0 after wins last week. The Spartans blanked Langley last week 49-0 behind Taynon Mitchell who scored five touchdowns. The Bears knocked off Perry 20-13 when Troy Gonzalez hit Henry Wallace with a 30 yard score late in the game.

#5 SOUTH at LANGLEY: This game will take place Saturday afternoon at South Stadium. The Orioles are 2-1 after shutting out Carrick last week 20-0. John Degounette scored two touchdowns, one on a two yard run, one on a 25 yard interception return.
